| Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall - 17th April 2007 |
| |
Being one of only four gigs in the current tour, we were somewhat honoured. Once our eays became accustomed to the dry-ice overkill, we were able to start enjoying the show. Admittedly, I did only recognise 4 songs throughout the whole set, and not just because the BRMC boys were out to showcase new material from their latest album Baby 81.
The new album features some of BRMCs most ambitious tracks to date. Howeer, if was the good old favourites "Spread Your Love" and "Whatever Happened to Rock and Roll" that got the crowd going.
They admitted they had no idea where Wolverhampton was before today...but were prety glad they'd found it. The venue was by no means packed, but this only meant that we (unusually for little ones) could get practically to the front, sans effort.
This also therefore mean a cracking view of Nick Jago, the undisputed hottie of the drumming world!
A great night was had by all...but he second half of the set more than made up for the lacklustre first half (where we were more concerned with choking on dry ice that listening to the band)...Im sure not the bands fault...
